LAURA CALDER is a believer in the power of the table as a tool for self-care, creativity, self-expression, connection, personal cultivation, and so much more.
A trusted and established expert on food, entertaining, and lifestyle, with a special interest in French art de le table, Laura is the author of The Inviting Life: An Inspirational Guide to Homemaking, Hosting and Opening the Door to Happiness and Kitchen Bliss: Musings on Food and Happiness (with recipes), as well as of four cookbooks.
Laura also hosted the internationally aired, James Beard Award-winning Food Network television series, French Food at Home. She has been awarded the Order of the Mérite Agricole by the French government for promoting l’art de la table à la française. She lives in Paris with her husband, Peter Scowen.
